Research in historical, artistic and vernacular photography has been rapidly expanding in the past few years. Responding to this trend, the bi-annual International Conference of Photography and Theory (ICPT) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from diverse fields of study for the interdisciplinary and critical theoretical exploration of photography and photographic practices. This year’s topic is ‘Photography and Politics and the Politics of Photography’.
